The Mojave Wasteland is a large stretch of the desert not as horrendously scarred as the rest of America. The landscape is considered somewhat of a break from the radioactive dust of other parts of the country. But it is no less dangerous, for it has many types of mutated creatures and tribals raiders alike.
But perhaps the most unique feature of the Mojave is Lake Mead, coveted by many and seen by few. It also has the Hoover Dam, a pre-War construct capable of powering a large region with electricity. Also, the ruins and preserved parts of Las Vegas, redubbed New Vegas, serve as a major attraction to wastelanders and NCR citizens alike.
