The Santa Maria Missile Base is a pre-War underground ballistic missile base in California. It is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range and acts as a Vertibird refueling station for the Enclave.
Background[]
The Santa Maria Missile Base was discovered by the Enclave sometime shortly before September 2159, after which it was repurposed to act as a refueling station for long-range Vertibird patrols. The base houses approximately 100 soldiers and technicians maintaining both the large storerooms of provisions, weaponry and energy for supplying the patrols and the Vertibirds themselves. Due to the base's location being both secluded and subterranean and its well-supplied personnel, it is one of the more defensible Enclave bases.
